BIOPASS Systems — global equine biosecurity infrastructure
ABOUT BIOPASS SYSTEMS

SYSTEMS BUILT AROUND A PRACTICAL PROBLEMIN GLOBAL EQUINE MOVEMENT.

BIOPASS began with a straightforward question: why does the movement of a high-value horse still require information to be reconstructed across separate veterinary, transport, regulatory and competition systems?

WHY BIOPASS EXISTS

A FRAGMENTED SYSTEM.ONE CONTINUOUS RECORD.

International equine movement depends on health certificates, identity records, permits, carrier documentation, quarantine requirements and competition credentials produced by different organizations for different purposes. Each system may work on its own. The difficulty appears when the horse moves between them.

BIOPASS is being developed to preserve identity, documentation provenance and chain of custody across those transitions.

FOUNDER VISION

Infrastructure not software.

We did not begin by asking how to build another equine application. We began with the movement itself: the horse leaving its stable, entering a vehicle, arriving at a terminal, transferring to an aircraft, clearing the destination jurisdiction and eventually entering a competition venue. BIOPASS is the infrastructure intended to document that journey continuously.

The platform is designed to maintain a tamper-evident, cryptographically signed record as a horse moves between stable, ground transport, terminal, aircraft and competition environments — available to authorized participants at each step, without replacing the authority of the institutions already responsible for the horse.

The commercial model follows from the infrastructure thesis. BIOPASS is not competing for market share in an existing software category. It is being built as a foundational layer for equine movement documentation.

THE MARKET FAILURE

One platform. Every checkpoint.Continuous verification.

01

IDENTITY FRAGMENTATION

No single verified identity standard exists for horses crossing international borders. Microchip numbers, passport IDs, and registry records are maintained in incompatible systems across jurisdictions — creating gaps that enable fraud, misrepresentation, and biosecurity failures.

02

COMPLIANCE OPACITY

International health certificate requirements vary by origin, destination, transit country, and species classification. No automated system maps these requirements in real time — leaving compliance verification to manual review by customs officers with incomplete information.

03

CHAIN-OF-CUSTODY GAPS

From stall to aircraft to destination, equine movements involve dozens of handoffs between parties with no shared documentation standard. Each handoff is a potential point of failure — for biosecurity, for liability, and for the animal's welfare.

04

NO INSTITUTIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Governing bodies, customs agencies, and veterinary authorities each maintain their own siloed systems. There is no shared infrastructure layer that allows these institutions to verify identity, confirm compliance status, and track chain of custody in real time.

THE INTEGRATED SOLUTION

One platform. Every checkpoint.Continuous verification.

BIOPASS Systems unifies biometric identity, real-time compliance monitoring, chain-of-custody logistics, and institutional-grade certification into a single interoperable infrastructure. The platform is designed to replace the fragmented status quo with an interoperable evidence layer available to authorized participants at participating checkpoints — from stall to aircraft to competition gate.

BIOPASS ID™

Cryptographically signed biometric identity combining microchip cross-referencing and multi-factor health documentation. Designed for tamper-evident identity continuity across participating jurisdictions where authorized.

BIOPASS COMPLY™

Compliance monitoring architecture designed to support applicable requirements across jurisdictions in the movement corridor. Automated documentation generation, status tracking, and exception flagging.

BIOPASS MOVE™

Chain-of-custody logistics layer providing real-time tracking from origin facility through transit, quarantine, and arrival. Every handoff recorded and verified.

BIOPASS DIGICERT™

Being developed as a verifiable digital evidence and credential layer capable of supporting authorized federation, veterinary and regulatory workflows where integrations and legal frameworks permit. Does not replace government-issued health certificates or regulatory authorizations.

GREEN LANE EXPRESS™

Premium manifest status for elite equine cargo. Pre-cleared biosecurity, expedited customs, priority terminal handling, and dedicated BIOPASS EXPRESS CARGO FLIGHT corridors — subject to applicable regulatory approvals.

STRATEGIC ECOSYSTEM

The platform every participant needs.

BIOPASS Systems is designed to serve every category of participant in global equine mobility — from the individual horse owner to the international governing body. The platform creates value at every layer of the ecosystem.

Governing bodies

FEI, USEF, national federations, and host-nation equestrian authorities. BIOPASS Systems is being architected for future interoperability with federation and governing-body systems where authorized agreements are established.

Regulatory agencies

USDA/APHIS, CBP, and international customs and veterinary authorities. BIOPASS Systems is designed to provide a verified documentation layer capable of supporting agency clearance workflows where authorized integrations and legal frameworks permit.

Certified carriers

Airlines, ground transport operators, and quarantine facilities that achieve BIOPASS conformity status gain access to GREEN LANE EXPRESS™ corridors and the enrolled horse population — subject to applicable regulatory approvals.

Venue and facility operators

Competition venues, stadium complexes, and barn facilities that achieve BIOPASS conformity status become proposed nodes in the permanent global network — with ongoing data and compliance revenue as the platform advances through its validation and adoption pathway.

TEAM & ADVISORY BOARD

Built by operators. Advised by authorities.

BIOPASS Systems is actively building its executive leadership team and advisory board. Appointments will be announced as engagements are confirmed. The founding team brings direct operational experience in equestrian sport, international logistics, veterinary science, and enterprise technology infrastructure.

Detailed team and advisory board information is available to qualified institutional parties under NDA.

HOW BIOPASS FITS THE INSTITUTIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Built to work within existing authority structures — not around them.

BIOPASS Systems is not a regulatory body. It does not issue government health certificates, replace customs authority, or seek to assume the jurisdiction of any national veterinary agency, federation, or international governing body. The platform is designed as an evidence and documentation layer — one that sits beneath existing institutional frameworks and is capable of providing the verified, machine-readable data those institutions need to make faster, more reliable decisions.

Designed for institutional interoperability

BIOPASS is being architected from the ground up for future integration with the systems that governing bodies, customs agencies, and veterinary authorities already operate — not as a replacement, but as a verified data source that those systems can query, reference, and rely on where authorized agreements are in place.

Private standard, public benefit

The BIOPASS conformity framework is a privately developed performance standard. Institutions that choose to recognize or reference it do so because it reduces their own documentation burden, improves biosecurity outcomes, and provides an auditable evidence trail that supports their existing mandate — not because they are required to.

Validation before claims

BIOPASS does not assert regulatory recognition it has not earned. Every sensing modality, every data integration, and every institutional relationship is subject to independent validation and formal agreement before it is represented as operational. The platform advances through a staged validation and adoption pathway — and institutional credibility is built at each stage, not assumed at the outset.

A platform institutions can engage with

Veterinary authorities, customs agencies, national federations, and international governing bodies are invited to engage with BIOPASS Systems at the research and development stage — to shape the standards, validate the technology, and establish the institutional frameworks that will govern the platform's deployment in their jurisdiction.

Institutional inquiries — including research collaboration, standards consultation, and regulatory engagement — are welcomed. All discussions are conducted under strict confidentiality.
